About the Event
One of the highest anticipated Gospel events of the year, the 8th Annual Avidity Awards kicks off with an exciting Pre-Show event on Friday, January 12th.
On Saturday, January 13th, the 8th Annual Avidity Awards Main Event will be taped live for television. "The BIGGEST Night in Independent Gospel Music" will be hosted by two-time Emmy Award-winning, six-time Stellar Award-winning, and four-time GRAMMY Award-nominated recording artist, B.Slade.
This year’s celebration of independent Gospel artists and their music promises to inspire Gospel music enthusiasts far and near with uplifting performances from an array of new and emerging independent Gospel artists, as well as established recording artists.
The Avidity Awards will give prominence to numerous energetic performances that underscore why Gospel music uplifts like no other music genre can. Attendees will be blessed with performances by:
B.Slade, Robyn McGhee, Anthony Hall, Casme, La'Kea Stokes, The Exciting Holy Sons, McFadden, Talasia, Rayshone Anderson, Arthur and Friends Community Choir, The Agape Music Group, Adrion Butler, Anthony Jefferson, and Anisa Fowler.
