ENTRY

Doors will be open by 4:30PM/CST. Due to security measures, please allow extra time for entry.

TAPING FOR TELEVISION

Please be advised that we are taping our show for television, so to avoid distraction to our production crew, attendees, and the taping of the show, you must be in the theater and seated by 6:45pm. If you are not in the theater hall and seated by 6:45pm, you must wait in the theater lobby, and you will not be permitted to re-enter the theater hall until the show's first commercial break, which is estimated to occur between 7:15pm and 7:20pm. If at any point throughout the taping of our show you must leave out of the theater hall, you must wait out in the lobby until the next commercial break. There are no exceptions to this policy. 

CONSENT TO BE FILMED

By entering the 7th Annual Avidity Awards and the Halloran Centre for Performing Arts and Education, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording, and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, webcasts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Avidity TV, the Avidity Awards, The Elite Gospel Music & Ministry Academy (TEGMMA), and its affiliates and representatives. Images, photos, and/or videos may be used to promote similar Avidity TV and Avidity Awards events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of Avidity TV, Avidity Awards, and TEGMMA. You release Avidity TV, Avidity Awards, TEGMMA, its officers, employees, volunteers, vendors, contractors, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings. By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by Avidity TV, Avidity Awards, TEGMMA, or the person or entity designated to do so by Avidity TV. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.

BAG POLICY

The fastest way to enter Halloran Centre is to not bring any bag at all, however clear wristlets and bags no larger than 12”x12”x6” will be permitted.   If you choose to bring a bag made of opaque material, up to 12”x12”x6”, you must enter through the X-Ray Lanes and place your bag on the scanner before being admitted. No bags larger than 12”x12”x6” will be permitted. Exceptions will be made for medical equipment and medically-necessary items after proper inspection.   Please allow extra time to pass through these security measures. One bag per person. All bags are subject to inspection.

POLICIES AND PROHIBITED ITEMS

Small umbrellas are permitted. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: outside food & beverage, cameras with detachable lens, video recording devices (both audio and visual), signs of any kind, illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia, inflatables, laser pointers, noisemakers, poles or sticks of any kind (I.e., flag poles, selfie sticks), weapons and dangerous devices of any kind, animals with the exception of service animals. Flash photography is not permitted. Cell phones and communication devices must be silenced or turned off during the live filming.    The theater is a smoke-free facility. Smoking, including but not limited to e-cigarettes and vaping devices) are not allowed.   Halloran Centre is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and will ensure that it offers compliant access to guests with protected disabilities.
