Although most of his latest endeavors were launched between 2018 and 2020, Huggins has 24 years of Gospel industry experience, starting his career in music as an artist manager, launching Mogul Entertainment Management (now known as Elysian Music Group) and subsequently, The Threshing Group where he was able to gain valuable knowledge as a concert promoter in the Summer of the year 2000. Huggins has since deployed his business acumen as a serial entrepreneur of several successful small businesses in various fields, including graphic design and credit repair services. Derrick’s expertise, experience, skillful management, and Christ-centered values have aided him tremendously with respect to furthering the careers of his artists, making a difference in his local community, and making his businesses profitable over the years. Huggins’s career has adequately equipped him for practically any challenge or obstacle, and he’s been fortunate enough to have various outstanding accomplishments to his credit, including the following:

Huggins has been an integral part of the local church, a community and political activist in his own right, and he’s guided the careers of several amazing independent Gospel artists, continuing that very work today, managing the careers of new and emerging artists. As an accomplished choir director in his own right, he recorded music with his group God’s Elite and as an effective artist manager, he provided his artists a winning formula of industry and technical knowledge combined with an aggressive work ethic led by an empathetic disposition. Huggins is an astute and savvy business strategist who understands the evolving digital landscape, utilizing his many years of experience in various industries, arenas, and circles. He continues to push the envelope by comprehending and navigating new digital platforms, methodologies, and technologies which elevates the artists, clients, brands, and digital consumers that he’s fortunate enough to work with.
